Terrace Connect
Privacy Policy
Effective October 27, 2026
Terrace Connect is a real-estate transaction-coordination platform operated by Avenue Transactions (“we”, “us”). Transaction-coordination businesses use it to manage their real-estate files: checklists, deadlines, documents, contacts, email, and accounting. This policy explains what information the platform handles and how.
Information you provide
Account holders enter business information to run their files: names and contact details of the parties on a transaction (clients, agents, lenders, title companies), transaction dates and terms, uploaded documents, tasks, notes, and accounting records. This data belongs to the business that entered it, is stored securely, and is used only to provide the service to that business.
How we use Google user data
Users may optionally connect their own Google account. When they do, Terrace Connect requests the minimum access needed for three specific features:
- Send email (gmail.send): emails a user personally composes in the app are sent from their own Gmail address, so replies go directly to them. The app only sends messages the user explicitly writes or schedules. It never reads, searches, or accesses the contents of any mailbox.
- Calendar events (calendar.events): when a user schedules a transaction appointment, the app creates the matching event on their Google Calendar and lets Google send the invitations they selected. The app only creates, updates, or removes events it created itself.
- Calendar list (calendar.calendarlist.readonly): used solely to show the user their own calendars so they can choose which one the app's events are created on.
Google connection tokens are held in our access-controlled database and are used exclusively for the features above, at the user's direction. Users can disconnect Google at any time in Settings, which revokes the app's access immediately; access can also be removed from the user's Google Account security settings.
Terrace Connect's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
What we never do
- We do not sell or rent any data, ever.
- We do not use your data (Google data included) for advertising.
- We do not let humans read Google user data except with your explicit permission for support, when required for security or legal reasons, or in aggregated, anonymized form.
- We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as needed to provide the features above, to comply with law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with prior notice.
Service providers
The platform runs on contracted infrastructure providers (web hosting and database hosting) and integrates, at each business's choice, with Google (described above) and Stripe (invoicing and payments). Each provider receives only what is necessary to perform its function.
Retention & deletion
Business data is retained while the account is active. Businesses can delete transactions, contacts, documents, and other records inside the app at any time, and may request full account deletion by contacting us — we remove the account's data within 30 days. Disconnecting Google deletes the stored connection tokens immediately.
Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with access limited to the account that owns it. Sign-in credentials are stored only as salted hashes, never as plain text.
